We celebrated Kaitlyn's first birthday recently - it must be so much fun to be one, but it's even more exciting for the parents to have their kid turn one! Congratulations to the Chungs! They put on a spectacular bash, full of babies, toddlers, games, and lots o fun for adults too!

There is nothing like a birthday to bring friends together!  This year, we celebrated Brian's birthday just a little early because of my upcoming travel plans (sorry dear, sniffles), but hopefully he enjoyed his weekend that was all about B. From yogurt pretzels, to beer, to fine dining, hanging out at Golfsmith, and B Star with friends, we surely made every effort to start his next 30-something year with a bang!

In every day fronts, we have been laying pretty low the last few months, "nesting" as they say.  We've thankfully managed to spend time with our Bay Area family, even those from SoCal and the South Bay. It's been really nice just taking in being married, thriving in our coupledom, and growing in our lives together. I feel like we've been more successfully being present in the *now*, instead of feeling the fleeting down time we have. More so than any month, this month leading up to our one year wedding anniversary *gasp* (and eight years couple anniversary, as Brian must taut), the small thing I most look forward to is being able to come home to my hubby every day.  I sure will miss that the next few weeks -- but look forward to our romantic rendezvous on our 1 year wedding anniversary!

Here are a few sneak peaks from Brian's birthday, and link to last month's fun-tivities!
